The Folly Garden

Year: 2017

Course: Arch 102B

This project applies and translates the lessons of form and architectural language from the the previous projects "The Cave", “The Hut”, and “The Tent” to the design of an architectural landscape. The investigations of this project  will be guided by three architectural devices—the field condition, the ruin, and the folly. These devices will establish the fundamental issues and context for the project, providing a point of origin for re-imagining and repositioning the work from the previous projects into a new architectural proposal.
